From School Corridors to Podium: Rhys McCleneghan's Returns to Regent House!

What a day it was at Regent House as we welcomed back our very own gold medalist, Rhys McClenaghan! The excitement was palpable as pupils lined up to give Rhys a guard of honour, with many lucky enough to receive high fives from the Olympian himself.

Rhys captivated everyone with an inspiring talk about his journey to the Olympics. He shared words of encouragement and spoke candidly about the hardships and challenges he faced along the way. His story was a testament to perseverance and dedication, leaving a lasting impression on all who listened.

Following his talk, Rhys engaged in a lively Q&A session with Mr. Robb, answering questions from curious pupils. The students were thrilled to interact with Rhys and gain insights into the life of an Olympic champion.

The highlight of the day was when pupils got the chance to see Rhys's gold medal up close. He graciously signed autographs, creating unforgettable memories for everyone. Rhys's visit was a truly inspiring experience, reminding us all that with hard work and determination, dreams can become reality. 🌟🏅
